Be-cause health (Belgian Platform for International Health) organized it’s annual seminar on 28 November in Brussels entitled “People at the Heart of Development. Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights in the post-2015 era ”.
With more than 220 participants from all over the world, including representatives from national and international NGOs, grassroots organisations, donors and UN, the 2014 Be Cause Health Seminar on Sexual & Reproductive Health & Rights (SRHR) was a huge success and was closed by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for development cooperation, Alexander De Croo who gave an inspiring speech in which he reiterated his strong commitments for SRHR. Dr.Therese Delvaux (member of W&CHRC centre and co-president of Be-cause health working group on sexual and reproductive health and rights) was part of the task force organizing the seminar and chaired a parallel session on “Fostering gender equality, improving SRHR”.
